Accredited Private Prekindergarten

4 years – 5 years

Children who are too old for preschool, but not quite ready or old enough for kindergarten. The Pre-K Program offers a child-centered learning experience for 4-year-olds that fosters a child’s self-esteem and provides many opportunities for children to succeed. The program is built around numerous theme-based units involving many active, hand-on experiences, including:

  • daily activities on the computer.
  • weekly learning experiences in the science center and library center.
  • weekly activities with music, art and sign language.
  • many opportunities to develop early mathematics and pre-reading skills.
  • multi-age learning opportunities
  • Handwriting Without Tears – Early Writing System
  • large blocks of free choice time.
  • ample outdoor play time.
  • field trips.

Toddle Inn School will serve children through the first grade. The full resources and services of our school are available to children in the Pre-K Program. Each classroom is staffed by a certified K-2 teacher.

You may choose either the full day or the half day block of time for your child; you have an option of just the morning hours (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) Monday through Friday or 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Center is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Before and After School Care is included in the tuition price.

We provide required curriculum in the morning and non-required curriculum in the afternoon. The instruction program will include the features described below for a school calendar of at least 175 days.

  • The programs coincide with the local public school calendar.
  • The classes are small in comparison to public schools, hence your child will have more one-on-one attention.
  • We have lots of hands-on activities, such as computers in the classroom and sign language instruction.
  • Lunch program is included

Pre- admission Testing:

If a child isn’t known to Toddle Inn staff we may require screening, interviews, questionnaires and visits prior to application. Children will be accepted into the program based on our findings and the suitability of the program for the child.
