Welcome to Toddle Inn Scarborough, Maine
The flagship Toddle Inn facility, our Scarborough location is located just off Interstate 95 and Route 1. This facility was built in 1999 and includes a newly completed addition (2016) with an indoor heated pool operated by Swim Time and their qualified lifeguards and swim instructors. Scarborough Toddle Inn preschool students have access to open swim activities included in their tuition and year round swim lessons for an additional cost.

This location is enhanced with a basketball court, soccer field for outdoor physical activities, an indoor gym space, and grassy hill leading to wooded trails for nature exploration. There are plenty of spaces for different ages to explore and learn together. A small section of cat nine tails located to the right of the building provides opportunities to get hands on with tadpoles, frogs, and other creatures that call the wetlands home. Children enjoy building villages with sticks and limbs, rolling down the grassy hill, searching for insects, reading stories and eating snacks together on the sunny lawn.

After making the move from Michigan, I knew one of my top priorities was to find our son, Ben a reputable preschool/daycare that he would thrive in, as well as, a place his father and I would feel comfortable with. A phone call to the director, Brittany Mackowiak, followed by a private tour (after viewing the website) proved to be the start of great experience at Toddle Inn for our entire family. Ben loves his teachers and the entire staff, all while learning and having fun on a daily basis. The staff is welcoming and genuinely take an interest on everything from the children, atmosphere, curriculum, and parent involvement everyday. I couldn’t be more pleased to have Ben start out on his new adventure in Maine at Toddle Inn. Five stars in our book!

I would highly recommend Toddle Inn to any parent looking for a terrific day care program. Both of my children have attended Toddle Inn since they were little babies, and will continue to attend all the way through PreK. They love being there. As a working parent, it is such a relief to know that my kids are not only safe and happy, but they are making great friendships and doing many developmentally appropriate activities. The staff members take an interest in every child and greet my children warmly even in passing in the hallway. My kids mean the world to me, and it puts me at ease knowing that they are so well loved during the day.

We enrolled our daughter at the Scarborough Toddle Inn based on recommendations from close friends. From her first day as a 3 month old, her teachers have treated her like their own- it is obvious how much they love these babies. They have taken a special interest in our daughter’s well-being and have been incredible resources to us as new parents. The care only got better when we found out that she had food allergies. Everyone on staff has worked to make us feel comfortable and we know she is safe while we are at work. I so much appreciate the special attention and safety measures that are taken each day to keep my daughter safe. It is also apparent how much fun she has while she is there and I know that she is working towards her developmental goals with age appropriate activities with her classmates. We are very happy being part of the Toddle Inn family!
